Their primary task is to apply <strong> point <\/strong> forces to <strong>remote<\/strong> locations with as <strong> little loss <\/strong> as possible. Like other mechanical or hydraulic presses, the mechanical release also consists of the main parts piston and cylinder. This is an <strong>elastic steel wire <\/strong>which, depending of teh design, is guided in a <strong> sheath<\/strong> made of different materials and ensures, among other things, that this type of release is also colloquially known as a <strong> \"cable release\"<\/strong>. The classic application is photography, for which we cover all common applications with a variety of standard designs. However, we also manufacture individual types for special requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mechanical releases are also becoming increasingly important in industrial applications. Especially in situations where the exclusively manual, almost loss-free and absolutely reliable transmission of forces <strong> without any additional energy requirement <\/strong>plays an important role; e.g. in the actuation of <strong> emergency stop <\/strong> switches inside electrical and process engineering plants, which can no longer be accessed without endangering the operating personnel
