Photo shutter
Photo shutter releases are an indispensable part of many everyday photographic situations. In the studio for portraits and factual photography, in repo photography, in the great outdoors for landscape and macro photography, long series of shots in laboratories - in short, in most cases where cameras have to be mounted on a tripod, the photo shutter release comes into play. It is the only one that ensures a vibration-free release process and thus plays a decisive role in the quality of shots that are at risk of blurring as a result of longer exposure times. That fact that it is usually also by far the least expensive link in the chain of quality-determining hardware components, consisting of camera, lens, tripod and shutter release, further ensures that no photographic image has to suffer a loss of quality for budgetary reason.

Fotoauslöser zählen in der Regel nicht zur Originalausstattung von Kameras und Fachobjektiven und falls Sie eine entsprechende Nachrüstung planen, finden Sie in Technology weiterführende Informationen zur Auswahl. Bei Unsicherheiten hinsichtlich des zu verwendenden Types (mechanisch oder elektrisch), klären Sie bitte zuerst, ob Ihre Kamera bzw. das Fachobjektiv einen Drahtauslöseranschluss besitzt. (Sie erkennen das evtl. an einer Gewindeöffnung, in die das Endstück des Auslösers eingeschraubt werden kann.)
